From January 2017 onwards, Sutton Coldfield’s aspiring young musicians can experience award winning music programmes right on their doorstep. Rated 5* on Netmums and Kalli Kids, The Strings Club is delighted to be offering weekly Term Time classes, Ofsted registered Holiday Camps and fun-filled Parties to children age 4-11 in the area.
Established by violinist and experienced teacher, Amy Cunningham, The Strings Club is an award-winning music education company, offering children age 4-11 a range of high-quality musical experiences, specifically centred around string instruments including ukulele, violin, guitar and cello.
Founder Amy says: “We are so excited to be moving to Sutton Coldfield. Over the past few years, we have seen an increasing number of parents travelling every week to our Harborne Term Time venue and therefore, offering something a bit closer to those parents, as well as new children, is an exciting venture for us! I am looking forward to The Strings Club become an integral of the Sutton Coldfield community.”
The Strings Club January Taster Event – Saturday 7 January – 10.30 to 12pm
To celebrate the launch of The Strings Club in Sutton Coldfield we are offering free hire of an instrument to all new customers who join us in January (worth over £35).
Children will be able to take them home from the very first lesson, to practice to their heart’s content. Booking a course with The Strings Club is hassle free as possible and everything a child and parent needs is included as standard – meaning that there are no extra hidden costs along the way.
The Strings Club will be offering a Free Taster Event on Saturday 7 January at Sutton Coldfield School for Girls. The highly popular Taster Events are packed full of musical activities to inspire children’s love of music from the offset. The free events also give parents the opportunity to discover The Strings Club’s range of acclaimed programmes as well as meeting our dedicated and friendly team of teachers.
The Taster Event starts with an interactive introduction to the world of string instruments by The Strings Club’s experienced team of teachers. Children will then be able to try their hand at a range of different instruments, including ukulele, violin, guitar and take part in two free lessons of their choice – lasting up to 20 mins each.
