Due to a successful and exciting 2023, The Strings Club is looking to welcome an experienced, dedicated and friendly Resource Manager to their team.

This role will involve working with our Head Office team to ensure the smooth running of both our Ofsted-registered Holiday Camps and #Music4All School Sessions - which both together have welcomed almost half a million children since 2012.

This role is really important to the success of the business and is perfect for someone who is looking for a hands on part-time role that is for the majority flexible too. We are ideally looking for a highly organised person who has key experience in the management of equipment and is very dependable.

Detailed Job Spec - Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of our Holiday Camp/Schools equipment

  • Sorting and prepping Holiday Camp equipment upon return
  • Creating a list of items that need to be purchased
  • Purchase the equipment if we don’t have it
  • Prep equipment ready for delivery drivers
  • Complete inventory per Holiday Camp site
  • Offer brief online training on the use of equipment and  resources 
  • Action any tasks that need to be sorted within the Holiday Camps (eg missing items, extra items)
  • Develop resources on a quarterly basis as part of our Post Event Evaluation and Holiday Camp Manager Feedback
  • Carry out inventory of stock on a regular basis  
  • Ensure electronic devices such as phones are working efficiently and have relevant apps such as Youtube/Gmail/ Google Drive
  • Prep equipment for new sites - when necessary

Delivery and Return of Equipment

  • Ensure all equipment is ready for delivery drivers to distribute to Holiday Camps
  • Meet delivery drivers after the Holiday Camp and return all equipment safely 
  • Liaise with our Ops Events Manager on any important details

  • Super organised and enjoy tidying and sorting equipment
  • Friendly personality 
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Dependable and trustworthy
  • Efficient in their use of time 
  • To be flexible to the needs of the business

Days

This is currently a part time role at one day per week and does require working on a Saturday  (when deliveries are returning).
