More Than Music: Why Our Summer Camps Are a Hit With Families

When parents hear “The Strings Club,” they often picture music lessons and concerts - and while that’s a big part of what we do, our Summer Camps go far beyond just instruments.

Each day begins with high-quality music sessions, led by some of the most engaging and passionate teachers around. Children learn to play an instrument, develop confidence, and prepare for our end of week Grand Concert - a proud moment for both kids and parents!

But what many don’t realise is that movement and sport are just as central to our camp experience. We know how important it is for children to stay active - especially during the summer holidays. That’s why our afternoons are packed with carefully curated workshops, many of which focus on physical activity, teamwork, and outdoor fun.

Here’s a taste of what your child can expect at our summer camps:

  • 🏃‍♀️ Eco Obstacle Adventure - wc 21st July
  • 🎾 Balloon Tennis & Mini Marathon Madness - wc 28th July
  • 🛡️ Knight’s Challenge & Pirate Flag Pursuit - wc 4th Aug
  • 🧙‍♂️ Wizard’s Relay & Dragon Dodge - wc 11th Aug
  • 🏖️ Sun & Surf Obstacle Course & Beach Ball Beats - wc 18th Aug

Plus, children enjoy outdoor play every day at break and lunchtime - giving them space to move, explore, and make new friends.

So, if you're searching for a sports summer camp that also nurtures creativity and musical talent, The Strings Club offers the perfect blend. Every week is thoughtfully planned by education expert and PhD student Lucy Hoy to ensure your child gets the very best experience — physically, socially, and creatively.

🎵 Music in the morning. Movement all day. Memories that last a lifetime.
