The Strings Club’s award-winning Holiday Camps are back in Hampstead this December with ‘Festive Fun’ week. ☃️

During this busy month we bring peace of mind to parents while their children aged 4-11 enjoy magical days filled with music and fun. Rated Platinum on Feefo with an outstanding 4.8 score, The Strings Club has supported families since 2012!

Our December holiday camp days will begin with inspiring guitar sessions and in the afternoons we celebrate the festive winter season engaging in a selection of carefully-curated activities. From sport and drama to dance, art and wellbeing, every session builds creativity and confidence – with no screens in sight.

The full weekly timetable for our 4-7 year olds and 8-11 year olds at this Holiday Camp has now been released. 🎉 Lucy Hoy, our Activities Manager, creates bespoke activities that are designed for both learning and fun. She's a qualified teacher currently studying for a PhD in Education and she is passionate about creating amazing workshops that celebrate music, movement and art for The Strings Club. 5 December activity highlights:

❄️ Polar Puppet Play - Create your own polar puppets - snow creatures, cheeky elves, icy spirits - and bring them to life through playful mini-performances. With each scene we discover new ways to use our voices, imagination, and storytelling skills.

❄️ Nutcracker Beats - Dive into the thrilling melodies of The Nutcracker, discovering how Tchaikovsky used rhythm, magic, and musical storytelling to bring battles, dances, and dreamworlds to life. We’ll explore how music can create drama, tension, and sparkle.

❄️ Winter Wishboxes - We’ll decorate special little boxes and fill them with winter wishes, hopes, and kind thoughts, bringing our festive week to a gentle, meaningful close. It’s a calm, reflective activity that helps us celebrate our achievements and look forward to the season ahead.

❄️ Arctic Games Arena - We’ll form teams and take on our very own Winter Olympics–style relay, powering through snowball passes, mini “ski jumps,” and icy sprints. Fast, funny, and full of energy, this session is all about teamwork, strategy, and epic winter challenges

❄️ Frozen Grooves - Explore icy rhythms, build our own beat patterns, and learn cool dance moves inspired by the world of Frozen. With powerful music and sharp choreography, we create an “ice routine” that feels bold, dynamic, and seriously fun to perform.
