Things to do with kids this half term in Warwickshire

• The MAD Museum - Stratford upon Avon

The MAD Museum does what it says on the tin! This fun, interactive, attraction displays pieces of mechanical art, in particular; kinetic art and automata (think Wallace and Gromit, Scrapheap Challenge and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!). “MAD” stands for Mechanical Art and Design . In a nutshell, mechanical art is usually beautifully crafted, moving sculptures either made to have an exaggerated purpose or made simply for the fun of it. • The British Motor Museum - Coventry

There are over 400 British classic cars for visitors to explore from the collections of the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust and the Jaguar Heritage Trust. Their free tours and interactive family activities will inspire and bring the stories to life - there is plenty to keep everyone entertained! Learn about the people behind the cars, the places they were built and hear the stories from our guides.

• Ryton Pools County Park - Coventry

With lots of different activities across the whole week, there's sure to be something for you and your family to get excited about this half term!

For example, join them to build a small den for your favourite toy animal from natural materials. Then toast some marshmallows over a small fire. Wear old clothes - you will get muddy and dirty!

• Adventure World - Warwick

No need to worry about the weather! Stay warm and dry with their indoor activities including all-day animal handling, guinea pig village, scales & tails exotic animal experiences, a magical family show and our huge indoor soft play and slide mania centre.

The action continues outdoors with the return of their amazing falconry displays, mini funfair rides, giant helter-skelter and family games.
