At a glitzy event on the afternoon of Friday 16th March influential businessmen and women saw The Strings Club win the coveted “Scale Up Business of the Year”, held at the National Conference Centre, Birmingham.
The annual awards showcase the best small businesses from the length and breadth of the UK, offering national recognition for those who have made the biggest impression over the last 12 months, recognising the business achievements and hard work, brilliance and innovation of some of the UK’s most successful small businesses.
After receiving the award director Amy Cunningham said “I am very proud to be able to accept this award on behalf of the amazing team at The Strings Club. The last 12 months have been an incredible year for us, from winning at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards to launching in several new areas successfully. We are so pleased that our hard work has been recognised in this way – to win such a coveted award is a huge thing for us. We are now running in 7 regions in the UK with plans to expand to 3 more in the next 12 months. So it is onwards and upwards from here on in too!”
Ray Hickinbottom, FSB West Midlands Regional Chairman states, “It’s been thrilling to see so many of the region’s businesses enthusiastically take part in our awards and the sheer scale and diversity of those who entered is a testimony to the vitality of the small business community in the West Midlands.”
The Strings Club runs multi award-winning music education programmes across the UK providing opportunities to inspire children through music including Holiday Camps, Term Time Classes, Parties and a School Music Support Service.
