What enables our award-winning Holiday Camps to stand proudly apart from other childcare providers is our passion and dedication in promoting the learning and development of all children in our care.
As part of our new #SaturdayCelebrations, today we will focus on one part of our “Four Key Areas of Development” – music-based skills and knowledge.
How do we develop music-based skills at our Ofsted-registered Holiday Camps?
Well that’s pretty obvious we hear you cry! Seeing as we are one of the only music education and childcare providers in the UK. However we want you to know exactly how passionate we are about developing children’s music-based skills at our multi award-winning Holiday Camps.
Firstly, we ensure that children have a full and varied timetable every day with us – offering them a range of musical experiences. Our morning sessions include our “Learn Together, Play Together” instrumental lessons, led by the UK’s top string teachers. Our afternoons include a range of carefully-created workshops that combine music and other exciting disciplines such as:
- Sounds and Colours – art and music
- Performarama – drama and music
- Music in Motion – dance and music
- Meet the Composer – music history
Throughout the day your child will have chance to develop a range of music-based skills from the motor and cognitive skills that is involved in learning an instrument to more academic knowledge via our workshops. What makes our Holiday Camps stand apart from the rest is that every day is wonderfully different with us and what’s more, you can be rest assured that your child will be developing their skills throughout their time with us.
