Each week at our Ofsted-registered Holiday Camps is based on a different theme, ensuring that no two days are every the same for anyone!

We are super excited to reveal that the first week of our amazing Summer Holiday Camps – wc 19th July will be based on the theme of Inventors and Animals.

Each workshop works alongside our exclusive “Your Child’s Development is Key” Guide and is designed to enhance your child in more ways than one, nurturing musical skills such as aural and listening ability, along with our personal skills as concentration, teamwork, making friends and physical and emotional well-being.

Here are our top 5 picks:

Sport Beat – Invent a Sport

Ideal for those sporty children to invent something themselves! We will be creating a new game with our onsite sport equipment. How many players would it have? What would it be called? We are excited to find out what unusual sports we can come up with!

Sound and Colours – All About Strings

Did you know that some of the earliest string instruments are over three thousand years old? In our ever popular workshop, we will be exploring a lot more about our instruments and your child will even get the chance to create and paint their very own string instrument!

Meet the Composer – Camille Saint-Saëns

Like Mozart, Saint-Saëns was a child prodigy, composing his first piece at the age of just 3! In this interactive workshop, we will be exploring one of his best known works “The Carnival of the Animals” – specifically how the composer uses music to portray characteristics of animals in each movement.

Music in Motion – Peter and the Wolf

After Tuesday’s introduction to Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf we will delve even further by focusing on the role of the conductor! Everyone will have the chance at waving the baton to different parts of the music. A perfect workshop to develop not only your child’s coordination and physical skills but also their understanding of musical concepts.

Pieces of Me – Animal Family

Just as in an orchestra, everybody has to be mindful of the collective as well as look after themselves. We will be exploring many of nature’s finest examples of camaraderie, family support and team work. We’ll go further to talk about who the support networks are in our own lives and how we can work together as a team to support one another.
