Our Courses are lovingly developed and specifically designed for beginners aged 4-11 and our team are the best strings musicians in the country.
We run our Term Time Courses because we know from experience that engaging in music has a powerful impact on a child’s life, everything from developing skills, building confidence and boosting educational attainment.
But don’t take our word for it, hear it from our incredible team…
Mercy, Ukulele & Violin
“I specialised in composition and music production while studying at the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, trained classically, however, have been versatile throughout my musical life working with various other genres (gospel, folk, jazz) as well as performing solo as a singer songwriter. Since graduating I have been working as a freelance music practitioner in and out of schools and with different organisations across the west midlands.
This year I am very excited to be involved with the term time weekly lessons as I love to see children grow in their knowledge, ability and most importantly passion for music and the instrument that they are learning. One of my favourite parts of the lessons are the musicianship matters slot which is where we focus on learning theory, musical knowledge and skills that don’t necessarily involve the instruments (like aural listening, reading notation and understanding musical symbols). This is completely unique to The Strings Club and what they learn in that part of the lesson they can take and apply to everything else that we do and I believe a lot of the growth is nurtured in that time of the lesson.”
Here in The Strings Club office we are busy getting ready to launch our Term Time Courses – weekly music lessons starting Saturday 22nd of September. Interested in weekly music lessons? Give us a call on 0121 296 9204
