How on earth is it the last week of the summer hols?
We’ve had the best time. So much fun. The workshops have been really, really good. And we’re in for a treat again this coming week. Here’s what’s in store…
Fairies & Dragons
This week we will be exploring the mythical and magical world of fairytales, but not just any old fairytales, oh no, we’re talking up-beat, adventurous, empowering fairytales; fit for purpose to inspire and uplift a whole new generation. From Midsummer’s night murder to How to Train Your Dragon and the international sensation Shrek, this will be a week packed full of imagination, creativity and performance. We hope you’re ready to turn reality into fantasy!
Pick of the week: Shrek, Tuesday 27th August
Sport Beat
This energetic workshop is truly action-packed and fun-filled! Using a song from a popular movie “Shrek”, children will be interpreting the words from the song using their bodies and playing a game of Shrek tag. Don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes!
Sounds & Colours
Following on from the first workshop, the children will be getting all warmed up by playing Shrek Tag and then get their creative caps on! Using the story of “Shrek”, the children will be using their creativity to design and bring to life their very own fold-a-creature and dragon puppet – all the while listening to music from the films.
