Privacy Policy

Updated 31st January 2022

In plain language
Firstly, it goes without saying that your privacy is of the utmost importance to us, The Strings Club, and we will ensure that your experience with us is totally secure and always transparent.

We will not give your details to third parties or interested others for their marketing purposes. We will not use your details to bombard you with spam. We will not do creepy snooping. Instead we will use your order information to ensure your booking is organised properly and you are informed of important information relating to events.

If you would like to change the things you hear from or would like to unsubscribe you can continue to do so via every email we send to you. If you would like to delete your profile please email us at Head Office.

From your visits to our website we will use cookies to provide you with relevant and useful adverts from time to time based on your interests.

Our web servers are managed by Ionos and our booking system by Enrolmy

Our marketing is managed using MailChimp which does operate servers outside the EU but is bound by the same GDPR rules as we are ensuring safety of your data. Only relevant information is stored in MailChimp in order for us to communicate with you regarding our events.

If you email our customer services then your data may leave the EU in this circumstance - we use Google’s G Suite which has data centres in a few different countries and again is bound by the same GDPR rules as we are ensuring they respect your data as we do. We will use cookies for adverts and should you wish you can update your preferences and control what you see via Google Ads.

When making a purchase you will pay via Stripe. It goes without saying that the transactions have the highest level of security and are PCI DSS compliant. We don’t store any of your card details, however your order will appear in our accounting software Xero so we can pay our dues to HMRC.

If you have any questions we will of course be very happy to help in any way we can, including confirming all of the information you have given to us relating to your mailing preferences in MailChimp and bookings in ThinkSmartSoftware. Just contact us at info@thestringsclub.org. And here follows the full details of the Privacy Policy which we have saved you the trouble of reading in its entirety.

Rich text block for content

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
