Free Little Rockstars music experiences are coming to London this October!
This October, The Strings Club is teaming up with art’otel London Hoxton and art’otel London Battersea to bring music, creativity and a little rock ’n’ roll to young Londoners with Little Rockstars, a series of free ukulele experiences for children aged 4–11.
Children will get the chance to pick up a ukulele, make some noise and discover just how much fun making music can be. From learning their first chords to playing a song together, Little Rockstars is all about discovering the joy, creativity and confidence that can come from making music.
Open to local families and hotel guests, Little Rockstars has been created especially for children who are curious about music, whether they have played an instrument before or are picking one up for the very first time.

🎸 What will children discover?
Led by professional music practitioners from The Strings Club, children will:
🎸 Learn how to hold, strum and play the ukulele
🎶 Discover simple chords and learn to play a song together
🎨 Take part in a creative activity inspired by The Strings Club’s award-winning Holiday Camps
💜 Make music alongside other children and families
⭐ Build confidence by trying something new in a relaxed, pressure-free setting
And there’s no need to bring an instrument. Ukuleles will be provided, and the experiences are completely free.

Alisa Lisovskaia, Arts & Cultural Programme Manager, Lifestyle Hotels UK, said:
“We are delighted to collaborate with The Strings Club on this inspiring series of family-focused workshops celebrating music, listening, and creativity.
At art'otel, we are passionate about creating meaningful cultural experiences that bring people together, and this programme offers a wonderful opportunity for children and parents to explore music side by side.
Whether they are members of our local community, staying with us as guests, enjoying their half-term break in London, or visiting the city on holiday, participants will have the chance to discover and test musical instruments in a welcoming and engaging environment.
We look forward to opening our doors to curious minds of all ages and sharing the joy of music with families from near and far.”
For Amy Cunningham, Founder of The Strings Club, the partnership is a natural extension of the organisation’s mission to inspire children through music.
Amy Cunningham said:
“Some of my favourite moments at The Strings Club are when a child picks up an instrument for the first time and discovers they can actually make music. That first little spark of confidence can be incredibly powerful. It can make them want to have another go, try something new and believe in what they can do.
We’re so excited to bring that experience to art’otel London Hoxton with Little Rockstars, and to give even more children the chance to discover the joy of making music for themselves.”
