Seven Chords, Seven Rewards!
Chords look scary, but they really aren't! The more you practice with them, the easier they will be! Seven chords might sound like a lot, but none of the songs below use more than four chords at most. We recommend starting with a song that only uses two or three chords and practice those first! Once your child understands how chords work for one song, the next one won't be as hard! Here are all the chords you will need:

This song is only two chords! Full of energy and feel-good pep, this song is a great one to become familiar with chords.
Lava Chicken - Minecraft Movie (Jack Black)
Chords you will need: E minor, A minor, D major
Another very simple song, but incredibly catchy! Especially good for those with children who love Minecraft, it is a sizzlingly good tune to learn!
Espresso - Sabrina Carpenter
Chords you will need: D minor, E minor, A minor
Espresso was a global hit that everyone will know. A recognisable tune, and one you can all sing along to!
Mr. Brightside - The Killers
Chords you will need: C major, F major, G major, A minor
A classic of the noughties, and one to introduce the kids to young as a staple of early 2000s. A great song to build your child's confidence by using more chords and playing at a slightly faster pace.
Good Luck Babe! - Chappell Roan
Chords you will need: F major, C major, G major, A minor, D minor
Ok, this song does use five chords instead of four, but don't let that frighten you! Not only is it an excellent song, but it will really consolidate your child's learning of almost all of the chords in this post!
