Founded in 2012 by violin teacher and musician Amy Cunningham, The Strings Club began with just six children attending its very first Holiday Camp in Camden, North London.

Today, we've grown to more than 20 venues across London, the Midlands and Warwickshire, inspiring almost half a million children through the joys and benefits of music.

Our award-winning Holiday Camps combine music, creativity and screen-free experiences designed to help children build confidence, make friendships and create positive childhood experiences that last long after the holidays have ended.

⭐ Key Responsibilities

  • Help create positive, engaging and safe experiences for every child attending our Holiday Camps
  • Support your Holiday Camp Manager and wider team in delivering high-quality music, creative and activity sessions throughout the day
  • Encourage children to participate, build confidence and enjoy their Holiday Camp experience
  • Ensure children's wellbeing, safety and happiness remain at the heart of everything you do
  • Work collaboratively with your team to maintain the warm, supportive and nurturing environment that The Strings Club is known for

⭐ Essential Qualities

  • Friendly, positive and enthusiastic when working with children
  • Experience working with primary school-aged children in a childcare, education or activity-based setting
  • Able to engage and support groups of children in a safe and encouraging manner
  • Reliable, organised and a strong team player
  • Aged 18+ and have the right to work in the UK

⭐ Desirable Qualities

  • NVQ Level 2 in Childcare (or equivalent qualification)Paediatric First Aid qualification*
  • Experience within Holiday Camps, schools, clubs or other children's activity settings

*Don't worry if you're not currently qualified - we can help arrange Paediatric First Aid training.
