Wow, what an amazing first half of Term we have had.
Every child has progressed amazingly well, we’re so proud of everyone. And especially so for those brave boys and girls who have done Music Medals!
With Half Term coming next week we thought we would look at ways to help continue the momentum into the second half of term.
Reflect and celebrate
After all the hard work during term time it is important to get a break, relax and also reflect on what has been achieved.
Ask your child to play for you, show you what they have learnt. This is a brilliant way to share in their achievements and boost their confidence. And get a bit of practise in too.
Go to a gig
With the summer having properly arrived it is a great time to get out and see live music. Make a day of it, celebrate what your child has achieved and have lots of fun, all the time reinforcing what your child has learnt. Have you heard about our Quaver Concerts? They’re a great way to hear new music and further inspire your child this summer.
Continue the learning at Camp
If you are worried that your child might fall out of practise or are looking to get some extra in then our multi award-winning Holiday Camps might just be the answer. Each morning we have our small group instrument tuition to help brush up on skills. And in the afternoon we explore music in exciting ways in our creative workshops. This Half Term is Super Heroes week, heroic amounts of fun guaranteed and chock full of inspiring activities for your young creative cat – from Drama and Art to Songwriting, Singing and Dancing.
