Due to a successful and exciting 2023, The Strings Club is looking to welcome an experienced, dedicated and friendly Admin and Events Assistant to their team.

This role will involve working with our Head Office team to ensure the smooth running of both our Ofsted-registered Holiday Camps and #Music4All School Sessions - which both together have welcomed almost half a million children since 2012.

The role is ideal for someone who has at least two years experience working within an administrative role, a keen interest in art/events administration and is looking for a rewarding new role in a fast-paced company.

Main Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing our #Music4All Sessions and marketing to potential new schools via our nomination scheme.
  • Respond to any on-site issues that may arise for both our Holiday Camps and School Sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with all Ofsted regulations and our customer policies and procedures (T’s and C’s).
  • Designing and preparing our “Essential Info” emails and “Daily Newsletters” to customers via Mailchimp.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of all childcare vouchers and third party payments such as Bright Horizons/My Family Care.
  • Assistance with resource preparation (where necessary)
  • Assisting with the preparation of our Holiday Camps including staffing (where necessary).
  • Work alongside the Head Office team to complete a Post Event Evaluation Meeting to ensure all Holiday Camps improve on a regular basis.
  • Visit Holiday Camp sites to carry out observations and create a report as part of our Post Event Evaluation Meeting and quarterly KPI’s.
  • Assisting administrative duties such as answering the Head Office phone and responding to emails.
  • Checking our Holiday Camp Online Galleries to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Assist in the scaling up to new sites alongside the Head Office team
  • Assist in the creation of SEO-focused, added-value blogs (eg “5 top free activities near you”)
  • Attending events such as awards and networking opportunity (where relevant)

Location

Remotely most of the time alongside quarterly face to face meet ups.

Days

This is currently a part time role at 3 days per week. Hours will usually be 9am - 5pm however during school holidays will be approx 8am - 4pm.
