Lucy Hoy

Lucy Hoy is Activities Manager at The Strings Club, where she combines her expertise in education with a passion for creating engaging, music-led experiences for children.

A Bristol-based primary school teacher, Lucy has experience working with children of all ages and is currently pursuing a PhD in Education at the University of Birmingham, focusing on fostering inclusion in schools.

A passionate musician, Lucy plays both piano and violin and strongly believes in the positive impact of music on children’s wellbeing. With a talent for planning creative and engaging lessons, she designs fun, interactive workshops that inspire children to develop their love of music through meaningful, hands-on learning. In her free time, Lucy has been enjoying running around Bristol having recently moved there, and will be attempting a couple of 10k races later this year.
