Founder and director Amy Cunningham has been shortlisted in the ‘Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ category of the Birmingham Post Awards. This award aims to celebrate success, recognise achievement and highlight the innovative people and companies in Birmingham who are putting our region on the map by boosting the economy while making a positive contribution to the local community.

In 2014, The Strings Club was a finalist in the category of Best Musical Initiative at the Music Education Awards for Excellent, judged by a panel a panel of experts including Dr Richard Hillier, Headmaster of the Yehudi Menuhin School, Professor Barry Ife and Richard Hallam MBE, Chair of the Music Education Council.

In 2013, The Strings Club beat hundreds of businesses to be named Nectar Business Start-up of the Year 2013, by a panel of judges including star of BBC1’s The Apprentice, Karren Brady. The Strings Club was awarded the Start-Up of the Year award, thanks to the demonstration of on-going success and nationwide expansion that is testament to the high quality of tuition given from term-time courses to holiday camps to in-school sessions.
