Gain valuable experience in the arts industry with The Strings Club internships.
Based in Birmingham’s cultural quarter of Digbeth, The Strings Club are looking for enthusiastic and organised interns to help with the preparation and delivery of our award-winning programmes including Ofsted registered Holiday Camps, weekly Term Time lessons that work alongside the Royal Schools of Music, award-winning School Music Support Service and fun-filled Ukulele Gurus Parties.
Our voluntary internships are an ideal opportunity to gain real valuable, professional experience for an individual interested in developing a career in arts administration, marketing and events. An internship with The Strings Club will provide insight into the wide variety of roles that go into delivering award-winning art programmes.
“My internship with The Strings Club was just what I needed! I was not treated as an “outsider” but as a valuable member of the team. I was given fun but interesting tasks to do that gave me the opportunity to develop my skills. The team also were lovely and I would highly recommend this internship!” – Alice, July 2017
“My time as an Events and Marketing Intern at The Strings Club was incredibly valuable. I was trusted with a wide variety of tasks and immediately made to feel as part of the team. I have gained a great insight into how an arts organisation runs successfully, which has given me a great deal of confidence to pursue the next chapter of my career.” – Pete, November 2017
