Award winning musical experiences for children aged 4-11

Five reasons to join us this Autumn

It’s time for your child to get those fingers warmed up, wipe the dust off  their instruments and slowly start preparing for weekly music classes this Autumn term after the long summer break.

Our Autumn Term Time Courses begin on w/c 18th September, and here are Top 5 Reasons why you should be joining us if you haven’t already!

Our weekly music classes are set within a fun, supportive and rewarding environment and are led by the UK’s top string teachers. They are tailored to the age of your child with specific courses for Minis ukulele & violin courses (children aged 4-5) and Sound Start guitar, violin, ukulele & cello courses (children aged 6-11).

1) Our Partnership with Music Medals

We’re incredibly proud to be partners with Music Medals, a fantastic award scheme established and run by the Associated Board of The Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM).

Whereas typically it might take over a year for a beginner to reach the standard to enter for Grade 1, Music Medals can be achieved every term giving your child something really rewarding to practice towards.

Read more about our Music Medal awards or check out the ABRSM website.

2) Lessons are 45 mins – 60 mins

Unlike the standard 20-30 minute lessons which can prove more like a cramming-in session, our lessons last 45 mins (Minis) or an hour (Sound Start) – ensuring your child gets the most out of their music education.

3) Instrument hire for less than £3 per week

With our Term Time Courses, you can hire an instrument to take home for less than £3 per week – meaning that your child can keep up with their practice throughout the term.

4) End of Term Concert for friends and family

Every term concludes with a Grand Concert in the last 15 minutes of the lesson. This is a chance for the children to show you and any other family and friends what they have been up to this term!

We consider every performance opportunities to be essential in developing confidence and gaining a sense of achievement – something intrinsically important for all budding young musicians.

5) Develop their musicianship and personal skills

Our lessons are led by the UK’s best string teachers – handpicked for their friendliness, professionalism and dedication to teaching. We know it can be a difficult task to find a music class that works for your child and inspires them from the offset. That’s why each Term Time Course is developed by our team of experienced string specialist, taking into consideration every aspect of your child’s development such as boosting confidence and key communication skills including teamwork, listening and focus.

At the end of each lesson, every child also receives a ‘Practice Makes Perfect Guide’ advising what to practise before the next lesson and to help you support your child’s musical journey at home. This is so that you can also keep up to date with what your child is doing and what they should be achieving on a weekly and termly basis.
